What inspired you to pursue a career in pastry
It dates back to my boyhood, when I was in junior high school, the school management created a session for the art of baking and cooking, then I fell in love with baking. That was when I learned that I love making people happy by making dessert and baking for them. I discovered that at tender age

Coming from a military background, I would have been in the military
What do you find most rewarding about working as a pastry chef
As a pastry chef, it requires creativity, precision, and hard work. While it can be challenging, it is also a rewarding career that allows chefs to showcase their skills and bring joy to the customers through delicious desserts creation
What role do you think creativity plays in pastry arts
Innovative taste and flavor of baked goods and cake decorations highly depend on the baker. Being creative allows you to put your own personal flair on the items, you create and that usually makes the end result more interesting.
How do you nurture and express your creativity in your pastry creations
Baking allows you to unleash your imagination with every recipe beyond following instructions, you have the liberty to experiment with flavors, presentation and the memories associated with each recipe. That is why baking and pastry is not just an art but a science that deals with measurements and conversion of dry and liquid ingredients accurately.
What is your favorite pastry
Tiramisu is my favorite
